Going to an Island off the coast of British Columbia June 22nd-30th to help run a camp out there. We'll fly to Seattle from Denver, drive to Vancouver take a car Ferri then drive some more and take a water taxi to the camp, it will be great!

I made it to Denver!!! Smooth road trip, no traffic and we drove straight through! I'm in my townhouse now, its a very nice rich area! I'm off to explore soon. . . Amazing view to wake up to - the snow caped mountains all around me! I love it!

Wednessday will be my last day with everyone! Saturday morning i'll be leaving to Denver for the summer and thursday and friday i'll be busy with a wedding im in. So if you wanna see me i'll be at res life wednessday night! Love ya and see everyone after summer.

So i've decided to go to GRCC next year, I signed up for my fall classes! Here's my schedule in case you'd like to get a class with me! ;)

Intro to Photography - PO 103 1613 Mon. 5:45pm-10pm

English 101 - EN 101 2911 Tu Th. 11:30am-1pm

General Psychology - PY 201 2510 Tu Th. 9:30am-11pm

Political Science - PS 110 1511 Tu Th. 1:15-2:45pm

So that's my schedule so far, i might add one more class later! Let me know if we have any classes together!?

Saturday I was able to get Kelly T. to walk from our houses in Jenison all the way to Grand Rapids for the Invisible Children in Uganda! It was about a 3 hour walk - 10 miles and slept in the cold rain. It was a great experience, and they showed the video for about 1200 people to watch. Did anyone see what they said on the news?

Well finally something exciting happened around here. My neighborhood almost caught on fire yesterday! Some barns and houses down the street the golf course owns caught on fire and they had all the farm equipment, lawn mowers and fertilizer in them. Things exploded, which was pretty sweet. About 300 people filled our neighborhood to get in on the action, neighbors sat in there driveways in chairs watching the fire. Here are some pics below:

Sunday I went to the Hillsong United concert in Munster Indiana, one of the best worship concerts ever!!! Long long day though, waiting for like 6 hours in line to get into the concert then jumping around for 4 hours of worship. I do have to say, I could marry an Australian. . . . They have sweet hair, fashion, and accents...

Tonight I'll be going to the Kutless Concert with my Dad! ;) Then for the weekend i'll be SKIMBOARDING in Pentwater. Pray I dont hurt my back again!!!

Americans are closing their eyes to open the worlds’ to an unseen

war.

By lying down, we are joining the invisible children in northern Uganda, and demanding that

our government put an end to the longest running war in africa, and one of the worst

crises in the world today.

FACTS:

Northern Uganda called the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today because of the
lack of attention
1.7 million people forcibly displaced
AN estimated 20- 50,000 children abducted to fight as soldiers
tens of thousands of children commuting nightly
130 people die per day in Northern Uganda due to violence

On April 29th in over 130 cities across the country, thousands are

lying down to demand that our government take a stand and put an

end to child abduction, the need for night commuting, and war in

northern Uganda.

We ask two things:

President George Bush and The United States Government should press the United Nations and Yoweri Museveni to do everything in their power to:

1. End the conflict and protect the civilians in Northern Uganda

2. Ensure adequate humanitarian assistance to the Invisible Children (in the internally Displaced camps and beyond)
